The day nearing its end, we slowly proceeded again to the airport for a round trip flight to Mashhad and back. Scheduled was a Boeing 747-300 but unfortunately it broke down a couple of days before our arrival and it was swapped for an Airbus A300-600. Unlucky, but still not very easy to catch. First flight in business class and accompanied with a visit in the lounge at THR and the return in economy. Our plane will be EP-MNQ, an ex Lufthansa bird.

We arrive at the check-in counters around 1730LT, get our seats and are shown the way to the lounge. There a couple people from the group (who fly in C this leg) take their rest before the flight. The lounge itself is quiet and has a satisfactory range of snacks. All in all, the lounge is fine. Unfortunately it is located in the general area so you still have to go through security before boarding. We are taken to the airplane by bus and board through one pair of stairs. The flight duration is over an hour. Before departure we are given a welcome drink. During the flight supper is served. The window is no good for any photos or videos so I just sit back, relax and enjoy the flight. After landing we taxi to the gate and deboard through a jetway. Nevertheless before leaving the plane I get to visit the cockpit where a very friendly crew is ready to pose for some photos, get a couple of shots of an empty passenger cabin and after that I leave the plane for check-in for the return flight.
A couple more words about the seats. They are wide, not all buttons work in all the seats and if you retract your seat-back to the maximum you'll put it in the meal of the person behind you. It's not a full flat.

The return flight to Tehran in economy class due to the late hour was just a simple return flight to "the base". Service is simple, the window is in a better shape than the one I had before so videos are possible to film decently.
